Entries sought for Holiday Care Awards

ENTRIES are being sought for the 1994 Holiday Care Awards, which recognise efforts by the tourism and hospitality industry to improve holiday facilities for the disabled and elderly.

The awards, run by Holiday Care Service, for the first time include a design category, sponsored by Caterer & Hotelkeeper, inviting designers or hoteliers to design the perfect standard room for wheelchair users.

Other categories include the best hotel accommodation of 20 bedrooms and over, the best hotel or guesthouse accommodation of under 20 bedrooms and the most helpful member of staff.
