Flexible brew

AFTER a two-year research and development programme, Hobart has built a lot of flexibility into its all-new C21 bulk brewing coffee machine, the replacement for the existing Phoenix model.

Recognising that volume levels can vary considerably during the day, the machine can be programmed to brew as little as five litres at a time or any other volume up to the full ten-litre brew capacity. The machine also starts producing another brew automatically when it detects the storage urn is empty.

Automatic programming also makes it possible to have coffee ready and waiting when staff arrive in the morning.

With operation via a membrane touch panel, the new machine comes in self-serve models (£3,965) or manual (£3,194).
