Denies assault
Chelsea defender Bernard Lambourne has denied allegations that he indecently assaulted a young female worker at the Oulton Hall Hotel near Leeds in the week before Easter.
The hotel worker claims Lambourne pinned her against the wall, fondled her breasts and tried to lure her into his room. The footballer says he just kissed the girl on both cheeks after she requested an autograph. Lambourne was released on police bail after questioning by West Yorkshire police, who will decide whether to press charges.
