Give your fresh juice a boost

Commenting on the trend to fresh juice provision at many different types of catering outlet, Robot Coupe (UK) reports a 170 per cent increase in sales of its juice extractors. The Waring PJE50X Juicerator suits this trend with the ability to juice carrots, apples, tomatoes and grapes.

It also has an optional attachment claimed to extract up to 90 per cent of the available juice from any fruit or vegetable.

The table-top machine is priced at £249. The company's calculations suggest that, with 30 servings of fresh juice per day, sold at a price of at least £1.50 for a 200ml serving, a profit margin of 82 per cent is possible, making the Juicerator self financing in just one week.
