Halliday wins BAe contract from GM

Berkshire-based Halliday Catering Services has scooped its biggest ever deal, winning a £1.25m-a-year turnover contract at the head office of British Aerospace (BAe) in Farnborough, Hampshire.

The three-year contract, previously run by Gardner Merchant (GM), includes staff catering, vending and hospitality at the nine-building complex. The 2,000 BAe staff on site have a 450-seat restaurant, 120-seat deli bar and diner, a staff shop and a vending service. Halliday takes over on 2 February.
