The Devonshire Hotel in Torquay, Devon, has been bought for close to £1.1m. David and Jeanne Wilson, have bought the 72-bedroom hotel to add to their two others in Newquay, Cornwall, and the Isle of Wight. The hotel includes a 150-seat restaurant and owner's accomodation. The Wilsons will base themselves at the Devonshire and are already planning their next hotel in Bournemouth. Bettesworths was the agent.
