HITS PIC CAP
The great and the good of the Scottish hospitality industry turned out in force for last month's Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Scotland masked dinner at the Glasgow Hilton. A charity auction on the night raised an impressive £79,000, which HIT Scotland will spend on industry bursaries and scholarships. The HIT Scotland Industry Award, sponsored by the Caterer Group and Brakes, went to Alani Larbi, who has just stepped down from his role as vice-president, Hilton Scotland & Ireland, to set up his own hotel consultancy.
