Hooligans end in jail

TWO men have been jailed for a year after inflicting a 45-minute orgy of drink-fuelled violence and destruction on an Indian restaurant in London.

Joseph Robertson and Robert Hobbs were jailed at Southwark Crown Court last month after admitting charges of affray at the Sitar Tandoori in Whitechapel Road.

Robertson smashed a bottle over the head of a waiter, who later needed six stitches, while Hobbs held a knife to the neck of another. Both then went on a rampage of destruction, but were so drunk they later could not recall what had happened.
