Hotel con man looks like this

Police have released a photofit of the con man they are hunting in connection with a string of hotel frauds across the South of England.

The man books in under a false name, claims a "business partner" will pay, and then absconds without settling the bill. He has swindled hoteliers out of thousands of pounds (Caterer, 12 February, page 8).

He is described as being 29-30 years old, of medium build, with brown eyes and black or light brown hair. Witnesses say the photo fit (above) is a reasonably accurate likeness.

Any hoteliers who think they have seen the man should contact their local police station.
