n SALES OF Black Bottle Scotch Whisky, 261, are growing fast, according to recent figures. It is now Scotland's third most popular whisky, with sales in the South also on the increase. The brand is the only blended Scotch Whisky to contain malts from all seven of the island's of Islay's working distilleries.

n THE new Diet Tango TV ad features sizzling bacon and cheese on toast to tempt viewers to indulge in a wicked snack. Led astray, they should compensate with Diet Tango, 262. The advertising is part of a £14m brand investment including a six-month advertisement campaign. To meet the demand, Britvic has launched a new case format for its 2-litre bottles to 6 x 2 litre plastic PET bottles. The 500ml PET range has been expanded to include Diet Orange Tango.

n CASA Girelli, 263, has launched a new range of four wines called the Canaletto Winemaker's Choice - Pinot Grigio Garganega del Veneto IGT, Chardonnay di Puglia IGT, Merlot del Veneto IGT and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC.

n ACCORDING to the Natural Mineral Water Information Service, 264, sales of bottled water are booming. The Service advises outlets to display bottles of natural mineral water above counter level as a reminder to consumers that good quality water is available. A wide range of bottle sizes, as well as still and sparkling variants, should be on offer.
