Charity run

Jean-Christophe Novelli, chef-director of Clerkenwell's Maison Novelli, helped to raise around £300,000 for charity by taking part in the London Triathlon on 1 October. Novelli, who completed the event in just over three hours, was one of a team of 10 businessmen which included hotelier Sir Rocco Forte. The event comprised a 1.5km swim, a 40km cycle ride and a 10km run. The captains of business were raising money for seven charities including Guide Dogs for the Blind, Sports Aid and Children Nationwide.
