Inspired by the Indian city of Pune (formerly Poona), Poonah Foods has introduced its hot sandwich called the poonah. It comprises a large, soft, Indian-style bread folded around either chicken, prawn or roasted vegetable, with roast potatoes, melted cheese and a medium-spiced sauce. Each weighs 300g and comes frozen with a film covering to control moisture loss.

Prices: from £1.04 per item (minimum order one pallet, with 70 cases of 16 poonahs each)

Available from:Poonah Foods
