Induction wok

A tabletop induction hob specifically for wok cooking has been introduced by Franke as part of a complete series of backbar appliances. It has a concave heating area into which a full-size wok fits snugly.
The casing measures 380mm long x 600mm deep x 200mm high, with 3.5kw power rating, operated at 10 per cent increments. Price is £1,600.
All units in the new series can be butted together on a countertop or employed in a self-standing run. Other appliances in the range include griddle plates, grills, Ceran cooking hob, deep fryers, single zone flat induction hob, bain-marie and pasta cooker.
