What business is it in? It's a bar operator, with an all-day operating format that places food at the heart of what it does.

What brands does it operate? It has four different concepts at present. Tiger Tiger is perhaps its highest-profile venture, but it also operates individual bars based on lounge, club and restaurant concepts. Each offers a different experience, appealing to different consumer groups and age ranges.

Where is its head office and area of operation? The company has 16 of its 27 venues in London's West End. However, Tiger Tiger (right), which has a capacity of 2,000, is earmarked for a national roll-out and can currently be found across the country in London, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle upon Tyne.

How does the future look? The company continues to grow, with the first of its new mid-sized Tiger Tiger bars opening in Aberdeen in June. Cardiff will get the full-fat version by the start of next year.

What sort of employer is it? The company has recruited 44 managers in 2004 (to the end of April) and expects to have 130 more by the year end. The company is keen to point out that its managers are not "slaves to the brand" and will be rewarded with plenty of autonomy as well as access to a structured bonus scheme.
