It's not so square
JOHN Artis has added two large oblong dishes to its Denby range of stoneware tableware. The new dishes, measuring 16in x 10in and 13in x 8in are in the Denby "Metz" pattern.
This has a bright Cobalt blue glaze inside the dish contrasting with a dark blue green glaze outside.
The Metz pattern is suitable not only in "designer" settings but also for casual dining.
The oblong dishes can be used for food display and service as the Cobalt colour of the Metz glaze contrasts and emphasises the natural colour of food.
They can be used in the dishwasher, freezer and microwave, as well as being used for cooking, freezing or regenerating.
Denby is a complete range that offers everything from salads bowls and jugs to tea and coffee service. It is fully vitrified making it non-porous and stain-resistant. It has a rich lead-free glaze and stoneware body.
