Thought to be the first in the UK, the revolving bar at Crewe Hall Hotel's new bar was inspired by a US trip by proprietor Philip Humphreys. It is based on a revolving platform more typically used for car shows and the specification theoretically allows for the weight of up to 200 people.

The revolving nature of the installation means that guests get to see parts of the bar normally only seen by staff so the specification of internal fittings was significant. The bar features three workstations, one of them designed for cocktails complete with a special blender unit and ice chests and the other two with slide topped bottle coolers, till units and beer fonts. The complete bar was made up of components from the BarOlympic modular system of custom made bar fittings.
