Keeping cool with a box within a box

AFTER rigorous testing of chilled and frozen refrigerated vehicle conversions for multi-drop food distribution, Refrigerated Vehicles (UK) has been appointed supplier of temperature-controlled van conversions by LDV.

To avoid the need to custom-build insulated doors, Refrigerated Vehicles has developed lightweight insulated glass fibre modular panels to add to the existing rear and side door on LDV vans, with considerable improvements in thermal efficiency claimed. A novel ‘box within a box' design has been developed for the van's interior load space.
