Le Calvez to manage Paris George V

Four Seasons Hotels has appointed the former manager of the Pierre hotel, New York, to run the George V in Paris when it opens in December after refurbishment.

Didier Le Calvez has been at the Pierre for four years. His replacement in New York is to be Didier Picquot.

December also sees the reopening of another luxury Paris hotel when the Meurice starts taking guests after an extensive refurbishment. It has been closed since March.
