Luxury Family adds Fowey Hall

The Luxury Family Hotels chain will open a fourth property next year that expands its growth outside Wiltshire.

After buying Moonfleet Manor in Dorset early this year, Nigel Chapman and Nicholas Dickinson have now snapped up Fowey Hall, a Victorian mansion near St Austell, Cornwall.

It will be run by the outgoing owners until the end of the year. After closing for major refurbishments, it will reopen on 8 May, in time to host the second Daphne du Maurier Festival.

Chapman added that it was just 10 miles from the Garden of Eden project, which aims to create "the eighth wonder of the world" with £120m from the Millennium Fund.

Luxury Family Hotels also runs Woolley Grange in Bradford-on-Avon and the Old Bell in Malmesbury, both in Wiltshire.
