Mermaid brand ahoy!

As part of this year's corporate re-branding, Samuel Groves has re-defined the branding of its Mermaid premium cookware and bakeware in five strands: Professional, Essential, Pinnacle, Authentic and Classic 600.

Professional medium duty products feature 2 or 3 mm thick aluminium with durable tubular steel handles while Essential pans are sun-ray finished inside and out and have either flat steel long handles or tubular steel side handles. The Mermaid Authentic collection of heavy duty stewpans feature cast aluminium handles.

For heavy duty applications, Pinnacle aluminium saucepans and stewpans come with a five year guarantee and have either cast aluminium or nickel plated solid steel handles. The Mermaid Classic 600 series, meanwhile, is a more basic series suited to solid top stoves or home cooking applications.

For front-of-house applications, Mermaid chafers come with standard or roll top lids and can be obtained with ancillary supplies such as fuel and spare parts. There is also a big choice of stainless steel and aluminium utensils, from tongs and plate covers to roasting and baking pans, basins and pizza peels.
