Meter monitors money

CLAIMED a world-first in simpler energy accounting, the Electricity Cost Monitor displays electricity consumption in pounds and pence rather than kilowatt/hours. Each monitor is set by the user for the local currency, time, date, VAT rate, standing charge and cost per electricity unit and is then attached to the electricity supply to give a continuous cost read-out.

The monitors, which are available in 26 different versions, suit catering environments and may also be directly connected to individual equipment to monitor specific operating costs. In this form, they provide a simple way of combating the new Climate Change Levy tax. Price: from £99 for a single phase system.
