Nescafé was chosen as the Official Coffee Supplier to The Championships by the All England Club, placing the brand alongside other leading brands like Slazenger, IBM and Rolex.
For the Wimbledon Fortnight, Nescafé introduced over thirty Nescafé branded beverage machines, branded cups and even a Café Nescafé around the celebrated grounds. Visitors were able to choose from a wide range of coffees including Cappuccino, Latté, Mocha and even a specially developed iced-coffee called Strawberry Sensation.
The results were outstanding. Since introducing Nescafé, sales of coffee at The Championships were estimated to
have nearly doubled to over 244,000 cups over the Fortnight in the first year alone!
