Marsh: steely determination, balanced by an enduring sense of fairness
Nick Marsh, chief executive Europe at Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, has died aged 40. Marsh lost his battle with cancer last week. He leaves a wife and two children. Arthur de Haast, global chief executive of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, said: "His steely determination, balanced by an enduring sense of fairness, always delivered in a highly considerate yet powerful manner, will mean he will be greatly missed by all who knew and worked for him." Marsh joined Jones Lang LaSalle as a graduate in 1988 and worked his way up through the company before being appointed chief executive Europe last year.
