No more eats at Neat's
Neat, the London restaurant of Michelin-starred chef Richard Neat, closed its doors on Monday, less than eight months after it opened in London's Oxo Tower Wharf.
The 100-seat restaurant, 150-seat brasserie and 65-seat bar which occupied the entire second floor of the tower was leased from the Coin Street Association.
A spokeswoman for the landlord said on Wednesday that the closure had been unexpected and it was still trying to get information from Neat's company, Neat (London).
Neat, who won two Michelin stars aged 26 at his former London restaurant Pied à Terre, was not available for comment at his Michelin-starred restaurant in Cannes, France, also called Neat, which opened in 1999.
Neat's London restaurant failed to be awarded any new Michelin stars in the recent 2002 guide.
