Novelli opens in the City

French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli got to grips with ex-Brookie actress Claire Sweeney (left) at the opening of his new venture, Novelli in the City earlier this month.
The 50-seat restaurant, located in the basement of the Capital Club on London's Abchurch Lane, is now open to members for lunch and to the public in the evening. What's on the menu? Grilled baby aniseed squid, salmon tapenade, mackerel lemon grass brochette, Belgian rocket, beetroot and orange reduction and cardamom oil.
