The Fifth Floor Restaurant, Café and Bar at Harvey Nichols in London's Knightsbridge has welcomed a new management team. Jerome Le Bohec has become hospitality manager. He was previously restaurant manager at the Oxo Tower restaurant. Michele Linley has joined the team as Fifth Floor Café manager and was senior restaurant manager at the Kenilworth hotel in Bloomsbury, London. The Fifth Floor Bar is now managed by Elias Yiallouris, who was manager of the Banquette and Laurent Perrier bars at Claridge's hotel, London.

Doris Hanson has been selected by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts as corporate sales manager for the UK. She was regional sales manager (Europe, Middle East and North Africa) with Marco Polo Hotels.

Luxury train the Royal Scotsman has a new head chef in the shape of Dan Hall. He was previously head chef at Nairn's restaurant in Glasgow.

Chapen Vimolchaichit has been promoted to executive assistant manager at the Novotel Bangkok hotel. She is the first Thai female to hold the position at the hotel and was director of marketing and business development.

Tristan Mason is the new head chef at the Hare & Hounds pub in Lambourn Woodlands, Berkshire. He joins from the Greenhouse restaurant in London's Mayfair, where he was sous chef.

Craig Reekie is the new general manager of the Oloroso restaurant in Edinburgh. He was general manager of private members' association the Hallion Club, Edinburgh.

Bar operator Urbium, which owns the Tiger Tiger brand, has appointed Simon Williets as development director. Williets held acquisition roles at Bass Leisure Retail and, latterly, Scottish & Newcastle Retail.

Leslie McGibbon will assume the role of director of external relations at InterContinental Hotels Group in June. She will be based at the company's global headquarters in Windsor, Berkshire. She joins from Hilton Group, where she headed up media relations.

Gilbert Verbelen has been appointed general manager of the five-star, 1,203-bedroom Regal Airport hotel at Chek Lap Kok International Airport in Hong Kong. He was general manager of the Fraser Suites Residences in Seoul.

Paul Jackson, previously operations manager at independent contract caterer Charlton House, has been promoted to divisional director. Jackson has taken on responsibility for the management of two operations managers and their portfolio of clients in London and the South-east. The caterer has a projected annual turnover of £40m this year.
