Over to you
What are your New Year resolutions for 2004?
My New Year resolution is that I'm going to enjoy 2004 because it's going to be a great deal better than 2003. It looks like business is going to be terrific. The pressure has come off and I can start to enjoy myself.
Peter Tyrie, managing director, the Eton Group of hotels
I've got three resolutions. Eat more healthily, drive more carefully, and beat William Baxter at golf more consistently. The last one is particularly important.
Mike Smith, managing director of CONTRACT CATERER BaxterSmith
I don't work like that. I can't work to a day. I wouldn't want to have any resolutions - my life is happy and balanced. But why do people have to work to a date to give up smoking or be nice to their wife? It baffles me.
Raymond Blanc, chef-patron, Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons, Great Milton, Oxfordshire
My resolution is not to open another restaurant just before Christmas like I did this year.
Jeremy King, the Wolseley, London
My resolutions are to bring down the Government, achieve my birth weight and give up smoking - again.
Antony Worrall Thompson, celebrity chef and restaurateur
I'm going to be kinder to traffic wardens, women drivers and vegetarians.
Gordon Ramsay, Chef-Restaurateur
(OK, we made that one up)
