Over to you

What are you hoping for from next week's Budget?

I wouldn't want to see the duty go up on wines, because we have to pass that on to our customers. And this talk of a tourism tax is madness. We seem to get bugger-all help from Local Enterprise. The industry needs to be encouraged at the moment, not knocked back.
David Young, proprietor, the Cross at Kingussie

I'll be looking for consideration for smaller companies in terms of bureaucracy, corporation tax and employment costs. Unlike larger companies, we don't have a dedicated person to deal with the paperwork.
Wendy Bartlett, director, Bartlett Mitchell

I hope they don't introduce any form of bed or tourism tax. It would be crazy to embark on that. We need a period of stability so we can consolidate. The Government can best help us by leaving us alone.
Peter Tyrie, managing director, the Eton Group

As long as the chancellor ensures the finances of the country are stable, I think the restaurant industry will continue to benefit.
Gareth Lloyd-Jones, chief executive, Madisons Coffee
