Over to you

What was your new year's resolution this year, and have you kept to it?
My personal mission was to give up smoking after 30 years. It lasted five days, but there were extenuating circumstances: I had the wife's family down. Now I'm back to at least four a day.
David Cavalier, food innovations director, Charlton House

My new year's resolution was not to make any resolutions. I never make any because I know I won't keep them. Every year we see a flux of people who join our leisure club at the beginning of the year, and by the end of January they never come again. I've done that one in the past.
Derek Harvey, general manager, Cardiff Marriott hotel

To make lists every day. Yes, it's happening - I was just about to write one as you called.
Michael Charlton, restaurant manager, Bluebird Dining Rooms, London

I didn't make one this year as I always break them. I did once say I'd go three days a week without a beer, but that lasted about four days. As it's good for you, best to drink regularly in moderation.
George Philliskirk, chief executive, Beer Academy
