Patterdale deal

The Patterdale Hotel in Patterdale, Cumbria, has been sold for £1m. The 63-bedroom hotel has been bought by Choice Hotels of Blackpool, an independent company not linked with Choice Hotels International. The company has three hotels in Blackpool: the Cliffs, the Claremont and the Viking. The Patterdale marks its first venture out of the town. The total deal, which added up to nearly £1.5m, also included staff houses and an owner's house plus other properties and land. Christie & Co was the agent.
