Tim Ireson is moving from the Waterloo Hotel, in Crowthorne, Berkshire, to become general manager at the Edgwarebury Hotel in Elstree, Hertfordshire.

Forte Hotels has made two changes to its international division.

Former managing director Alfonso Giannuzzi has been appointed chairman of Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts and will run the newly created Forte Hotels Development. Bernard Lambert, former deputy managing director of International Hotels & Worldwide Operations, has been made managing director of Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts.

Pub chain JD Wetherspoon has appointed Suzanne Baker as commercial director, Mark Davies as operations director and Rosalyn Schofield as legal director.

Trevor Owen has been promoted from assistant director of sales at the Churchill Inter-Continental London to director of sales.

Keith Chatwin has left the Holiday Inn at Kensington to become chef at the Tiverton Hotel, in Devon, while Salvatore Fraschini has joined as restaurant and banqueting manager from the Castle, at Taunton.

Beeton Rumford has appointed Paul Oakwell as general manager to run the catering operation at its Vicarage Road stadium operation, home to Watford Football Club and Saracens Rugby Club.
