Mark Treasure has become head chef at the Feathers hotel in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. He joins from the Michaels Nook Country House hotel in Grasmere, Cumbria, where he held the same position.

Jurys hotel in Limerick has named Margaret Holian general manager. She was previously deputy and replaces Jim O'brien, who has become manager of the Towers at Jurys hotel in Dublin.

McDonald's Restaurants UK has promoted Andrew Taylor from managing director and chief operating officer to chief executive officer. Ian Martin, formerly vice-president of information services, has become chief purchasing officer.

Anne O'brien has joined the Conrad International hotel in London as executive head housekeeper. She was head housekeeper at London's Halcyon hotel.

Andrew Edmonds has been appointed manager of the Cardiff Bay hotel's new health and fitness club. He was manager of the health club at Basingstoke Country hotel.
