PETER DOWDING has left his role as sous chef at London's Dorchester hotel to become head chef at Deans Place hotel in Alfriston, East Sussex.

PETER MORRIS has taken responsibility for 200 leased pubs as Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprises' new operations and sales director for London and the South. He was Whitbread Inns' operations manager, in charge of 130 pubs.
