ANDREAS OBRIST has been appointed general manager of the Forum hotel in London. He joins from Holiday Inn, where he was vice-president of operations for Asia.

PAUL NEWMAN has joined Belfast's Hilton hotel as executive chef. He was executive chef at the Palace hotel in Sun City, South Africa.

GIOVANNI TESTAGROSSA has taken over as general manager of Casa Tino's restaurant in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. His last post was at the Holbrook House hotel in Wincanton, Somerset, where he was managing director.

CHRIS DUTTON has been promoted to director and general manager of the Manor hotel in Meriden, West Midlands. He joins the board of directors at the Manor, where he has worked as manager for seven years.

GARY VASS has joined the Copthorne hotel in Birmingham as meetings and events manager. He was catering operations manager with Walsall Football Club.

BEVERLEY TATE is the new food development manager for contract caterer Aramark. She joins from Letheby & Christopher, where she was project director for the central region, with responsibility for food and strategic management projects.

MARCEL NOSARI has been appointed executive chef at the Palazzo Arzaga hotel by Lake Garda in Italy. Nosari was executive chef at the Anassa Hotel Resort in Cyprus.

ALISTAIR BRUCE has been recruited as catering operations manager at the Posthouse Glasgow City hotel. He was general manager at the Cairn hotel in Bathgate, West Lothian.

THOMAS TROUT has taken over as vice-president of planning and design at Regent International Hotels. He was vice-president of design and construction for Doubletree Hotels in Phoenix, Arizona.

SARA O'TOOLE has been promoted within Summit Catering, part of Granada Food Services, to operations director. She was human resources manager.

CATHERINE HEALY has joined Hayley Conference Centres as head of human resources. She was human resources development manager for lottery operator Camelot.

PHILIP CAMBLE has been recruited as a management consultant for Pannell Kerr Forster's hotel, leisure and tourism services consultancy. He previously worked in Cyprus as a freelance tourism consultant.

JOHN KEELING has been promoted to brewing director of Fuller's Beer Company. He was previously production brewer of the company.
