LUCIANO SAUTTO has taken over as café manager of the Fifth Floor café in Harvey Nichols,

Knightsbridge. He was senior manager at Café Med in London.

MARK SKIDMORE has joined the Ritz hotel in London as bar manager. He was cellar and

dispense bar manager at the American bar in London's Savoy hotel.

PAUL SUTCLIFFE has joined licensed leisure consultancy Mercury Management as

executive development chef. He was executive chef at the Royal Berkshire hotel in Ascot.

JOHN YARRELL has taken on the role of general manager of the Copthorne hotel in Cardiff. He was

general manager of the Ringway Hotel in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

JANE JARVIE has been promoted from general catering manager to executive catering manager at the Stadium of Light at Sunderland FC. She has been replaced by ROLAND RICHARDSON who was deputy general manager at Sunderland FC.

PHILIP BELL is general manager of the Copthorne Merry Hill hotel in Dudley, West Midlands. He was

general manager of the Quality hotel in Milton Keynes.

RICHARD and LISA SLATE have been appointed resident general managers of the Donnington Manor hotel near Sevenoaks in Kent. They both worked at the Golf hotel in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, as general manager and sales researcher respectively.

GAVIN McDONNAGH has been appointed executive chef at the Fitzwilliam hotel in Dublin. He was executive chef at Dublin's Stakis hotel.

RAMI SAYESS has taken over as regional director of sales for the Middle East and Africa for

Mandarin Oriental hotel group. He will combine this with his existing role as director of sales at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel in London.

ANDREW MACKAY has been appointed deputy general manager of the Grand hotel in

Brighton. He was deputy general manager at De Vere's Grand Harbour hotel in Southampton.

CAROLINE GARDINER has joined Sutcliffe Catering as sales director for the south-east and City region. She joins from Initial Catering Services where she was managing director of its business and industry contracts in the UK.

MARCO MANSOURI has joined hospitality recruitment consultants VIP International as culinary director. He was executive chef for Disney Cruise Line.

DARREN BROWN has been appointed permanent chef consultant for Hands Personnel

Consultants in London. He was chef consultant at Mayday Recruitment in London.

SARAH MOYLAN has been promoted to sales and marketing manager at

Jurys Bristol hotel. She was reservations manager.
