Hotels

Anthony Miller has moved from the Royal Derwent hotel in Consett, County Durham, where he was head chef, to take up the same position at the four-star, 122-bedroom Menzies Silverlink Park hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Steve Harron, former general manager of the Watford Moat House in Hertfordshire, has moved to the 97-bedroom Lakeside Moat House in Essex to take up the same position.

Macdonald Hotels has welcomed two new employees to its four-star, 122-bedroom Dunkenhalgh hotel in Clayton-le-Moors, Lancashire. Marc McCrae joins as general manager from the company's Blossoms hotel in Chester, Cheshire, where he held the same position. Antonio Campanile has become deputy general manager after leaving his job as general manager of the Carlton hotel in Prestwick, Ayrshire.

Restaurants

John Preston has joined the new 141-seat Wagamama restaurant in Guildford, Surrey, which opens this week, as general manager. John was previously a manager at Chili's Grill and Bar in Canary Wharf, London.

Pub company Fuller, Smith & Turner has appointed Steven McGinnes food marketing manager. Steven joins the company from Interbrew, the brewer, where he was a senior category manager for food-led concepts.

Fleming

Brookfield Manor, a training and conference centre in Hathersage, Derbyshire, has appointed Iain Fleming general manager. He was previously general manager at the Forest Pines hotel, golf course and spa in Broughton, Lincolnshire.
