Chris Wayne-Wills has joined the 272-bedroom Jarvis Piccadilly hotel in Manchester as general manager. He previously held the same role at the Ramada Jarvis Livingston hotel in Lothian.

Hotel development and franchise company Golden Tulip UK has made two new appointments at its three-star, 114-bedroom Tulip Inn hotel in Glasgow. Pauric McGurren joins as deputy general manager and Rebecca Batchelor joins as sales co-ordinator. Pauric was formerly an F&B manager in Manchester for the InterContinental Hotels Group. Rebecca previously worked in the recruitment sector in Glasgow.

Dusit Hotels, a Thai hotel chain, has appointed Isabel Tapp as director of sales and marketing for its five-star, 174-bedroom

Dusit Dubai hotel in the United Arab Emirates. ### Restaurants Bianca Ruggiero has joined the 295-seat Rainforest Cafe in London as sales and marketing manager. She previously worked as a membership and customer services administrator at the Topnotch health club at London Bridge. ### Pubs and bars Pub operator London Inns Group has promoted Robert Morley to group executive chef. Robert was formerly head chef at the group's George hotel in Colchester, Essex. ### Contract catering Morton's Fork has recruited Stuart Auger as operations manager for its contract catering division, Morton's in Partnership. Stuart previously held a senior hotel management position with Menzies Hotels. ### Plus… Industry charity Hospitality Action has appointed Peter Barrett, divisional director of Debenhams Foodservices, to the board of trustees.
