Hotels

The 122-bedroom Village Hotel & Leisure Club Maidstone, in Kent, which is due to open in the summer, has appointed Sharon Wilcock as revenue manager. Sharon was revenue manager at the property's sister hotel in Cheadle, Staffordshire.

The 21-bedroom Lynford Hall Hotel in Thetford, Norfolk, has several new recruits. Anna Richmond, previously senior F&B manager at Suffolk Golf & Country Club in Bury St Edmunds, has joined as general manager. Anna's deputy is Catherine Ewens, a former receptionist at Thetford's Bell Hotel. Kirsty Dunne, who previously worked outside the hotel industry, has been appointed events promoter. Treen Webb, was previously a PA, has become the hotel's conference co-ordinator.

Ingram

Glasgow-based hotel company BDL Management has promoted its sales and marketing manager for leisure and airlines. Dawn Ingram, who has been with the company since 2000, has become director of sales for leisure.

Restaurants

Adrian Grant has been appointed general manager of the 135-seat Frankie & Benny's in Wheavers Wharf, Kidderminster, due to open in March. Adrian has five years' experience with the chain, having most recently been in the same role at the Green Park branch in Birmingham.

Sandra Millar has joined the Mere Golf and Country Club, near Knutsford, Cheshire, as sales and marketing manager. Sandra's new role will see her promoting the club's conference and banqueting facilities. She was previously conference and banqueting sales manager for Stoke City Football Club.

Kleinman

Martin Kleinman has left his position as sales and marketing manager for Best Western's Shaftesbury and Paddington Court hotels in London. Martin has become a director of new hotel bookings company VisitHotels.com.
