Hotels

Corus Hotels has promoted Justin Johnson to the position of group human resources manager. He was formerly the northern regional human resources manager.

Kerr

Simon Kerr has joined the five-star, 488-bedroom Le Méridien Grosvenor House hotel in London as director of sales and marketing. He was previously the London regional director of sales and marketing for InterContinental Hotels.

Restaurants

Mint Leaf is a new 144-seat Indian restaurant off Pall Mall in London. KK Anand, formerly sous chef at the Cinnamon Club in Westminster, London, is the head chef. Gerard McGann is the manager and Mark Pratt the bar manager. Both Gerard and Mark worked previously at the Che bar and restaurant in London's St James's, Gerard as general manager and Mark as lounge manager.

Mark Broadbent has joined as head chef at the one AA-rosette, 106-seat Isola restaurant in Knightsbridge, London. Mark's most recent position was head chef at the Oak in London's Notting Hill.

Frankie & Benny's has welcomed Stephen Phillips as general manager of its new 164-seat restaurant in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. He previously worked in the same role at Café Rouge in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
