Hotels

The five-star, 96-bedroom De Vere Cameron House hotel in Loch Lomond, Dunbartonshire, has welcomed Simon Whitley as head chef to oversee its three restaurants. Simon joins from the Bedford Arms, a privately owned country house hotel in Chenies, Bedfordshire.

Andreas Jersabeck has been appointed general manager of the four-star, 201-bedroom Hilton Watford hotel in Hertfordshire. Austrian-born Andreas has been with Hilton since 1978, most recently as general manager at the Trafalgar Hilton in London.

Pubs and bars

Waxy O'Connors, a Glendola Leisure bar in London, has welcomed Bobby Robertson as general manager. He was formerly general manager at the company's Manchester bar.

Contract catering

Darren Pritchard has joined Aramark's refreshment services division, based in Cwmbran, Gwent, as general manager. He leaves his position at food manufacturer Danone.

Aramark has also recruited four new business development managers for its food services and education divisions. Andrew Scott joins the education division from Sodexho, where he was general manager for the Institute of Education in London. Joining the food services division are Ray Hannigan, Denise Maxfield and Ian Summers. Ray, who has 14 years' experience as a senior operations manager for Sodexho, becomes a member of the sales team in Scotland. Denise and Ian join the London team. Denise was previously a business development manager at Yes Dining in London and Ian worked for Baxter & Platts.

Barua

Nishant Barua has left his position as deputy general manager at the Holiday Inn Farnborough, Surrey, to move to Wyboston Lakes in Bedfordshire. He joins the training and conference centre as operations manager.

Visit London, formerly the London Tourist Board and Convention Bureau, has appointed David Hornby commercial director. David previously worked for Thistle Hotels for six years, most recently as director of meetings and events.
