Peyton denies rumours of Mash selloffs

Restaurateur Oliver Peyton has denied speculation that he wants to sell his two Mash restaurants in London.

Instead, he said he would like to find a business partner to help him open more.

He said he had had a couple of offers earlier this year for his Mash restaurants in Albemarle Street and Great Portland Street, but he was not interested in them.

Peyton also denied fresh rumours that Bruno Loubet, head chef at his 100-seat Isola restaurant in Knightsbridge, London, was leaving. These rumours surfaced last year.

In the past 12 months Peyton has closed his Mash & Air restaurants in Manchester, converted his Coast restaurant in London's Mayfair into a Mash and opened the Admiralty restaurant in the Strand.
