Pils set to go down a treat

Ritter First premium pils, brewed by one of Germany's biggest drinks groups, Brau & Brunnen, is on target to sell 850,000 cases in its first year in the UK. It was launched here in October.

The beer is shipped from Germany by Global Beer. It is light, dry and fresh-tasting, with an alcohol content of 5%. It targets free trade pubs, hotels and restaurants.

The pils comes in 339ml no-return bottles packed in cases of 24. The label features a free-phone telephone number so customers can call in with comments. More details on 01246 233777.
