Police ask for readers' help

Police in Nottingham are appealing to Caterer readers for help in tracking down a man wanted in connection with a large-scale fraud.

Sami Lofti Ben Mohammed Ghomgui, pictured below, is believed to have conned both individuals and businesses out of more than £300,000 in money and property, and to have left hoteliers with unpaid bills totalling at least £5,000.

DC Mike Fretwell said the man usually booked and paid for a room for one night before extending his stay and leaving without paying.

The last reported sighting was earlier this week at a hotel in the Sheffield area. If you spot the man contact your local police station, or DC Fretwell on 0115 9672496.
