Based on designs created for Moro and Fifteen in London, John Julian Design has produced a pair of salt and pepper pots turned from black granite and white porcelain. The simple solid shapes measure 7cm in diameter and can be used for any condiment, although the colours complement sea salt and ground black pepper. For presenting cheese and sushi or cakes and tarts, the company also has a new 30cm porcelain food platform which helps keep the cheese cool and does not absorb stains or smell. It is dishwasher-, oven-, microwave- and freezer-safe. Price: Granite and porcelain salt and pepper pots £12.50, porcelain food platform £17 Availalbe from: [John Julian Design
