All-day croissant snacks

Two new products from Delice de France are not just for breakfast and brunch, but as all-day hot snacks. The 135g Breakfast Croissant is an all-butter croissant wrapped around an omelette and slice of ham and topped with grated cheese. The 130g Sausage Diamond is a Continental sausage on a tomato base wrapped in puff pastry. Both can be baked from frozen in 25 minutes. They come 36 to the case.

Filtered water on tap

Samsung has extended its 200 series of plumbed-in water dispensers with two tabletop units. The TD model offers a choice of chilled water or hot water for making hot drinks, while the TC is chilled only. Both of them filter the mains water before dispensing and both come with cup dispenser. Their compact design makes them ideal for a wide variety of uses, from serve-yourself dining and refreshment sites to reception areas in hotels and offices.

Beat the bugs with clingfilm

Terinex has launched an anti-bacterial clingfilm designed for commercial kitchens. The silver-blue tinted film has the same stretch and cling properties of regular clingfilm, but with the addition of the anti-bacterial quality that has an effect on salmonella, E coli, listeria and staphylococcus - four of the most common types of food poisoning. It can also be used safely for microwaving. The film is 40cm wide by 250m and comes packed six to a case.
