Pubmaster's new concept to hit London

Independent pub retail company Pubmaster is to open its new bar concept, called BieRRex, in London next week after piloting it successfully in Middlesbrough and Newcastle.

BieRRex will make its London debut in the City's Creed Lane on the site of a former wine bar. With seating for 60 and bar or table service, it offers a menu that changes daily and a selection of 50 European beers. Food will aim to copy "quality French and Belgian cafeterias", with average spend per head predicted at £7-£8.

Pubmaster is looking for other sites and hopes to have located at least two more in central London within the next few weeks.

The company is also looking for suitable sites in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Bath.
