Radisson SAS sells Manchester Airport hotel

Rezidor SAS Hospitality, parent company of Radisson SAS, has sold its Manchester Airport hotel to an unnamed London-based property company.

Rezidor refused to disclose the sale price of the 360-bedroom hotel but did admit that it netted a profit of SKr130m (£8.5m).

The group said it sold the hotel in order to reduce its capital invested in property and focus on hotel management and franchising.

Radisson SAS will continue to operate the Manchester Airport hotel through a long-term lease agreement.
