The number of vacancies advertised in August 1995 was ahead almost 11% on the same month last year, according to the Salary Survey Publications study.
The analysis breaks down salaries offered according to job title, where given. At the top of the scale are posts for operations managers, with a moving annual total figure for August this year of £39,821 offered as the average advertised salary.
Salary Survey Publications monitors vacancies in: Caterer & Hotelkeeper, Bristol Evening Post, Birmingham Mail, London's Evening Standard, Manchester Evening News and the Licensee.
