Hoteliers in Wales maintained a consistent performance during this August compared with last year. Both bedroom occupancy and bedspace occupancy were the same, at 72% and 62% respectively, year on year.
The compilers of the figures, Pannell Kerr Forster, said 1995 and 1996 were the best Augusts in Wales for 17 years.
