Run the marathon in aid of charity

TOP chefs and celebrities from the catering industry are joining forces to raise funds for charity The Food Chain and need your help.

They want to recruit runners, joggers, walkers and crawlers from across the entire food and drink industry to join its Food Chain Gang to run in the Flora London Marathon on 16 April 2000.

Brian Turner, Antony Worrall Thompson, James Martin, Anton Edelmann and Phil Vickery have already signed up!

The Food Chain provides practical support for people who are housebound with HIV and AIDS related illnesses by preparing and delivering over 16,000 meals every year.

The charity is reliant on its hard-working volunteers, many of whom already work in the catering industry. It wants to raise £100,000 so it can buy a permanent kitchen facility and expand the service to provide more meals for sufferers.
